The Russian Federation is an enormous country occupying a substantial portion of both Northern Asia and also Eastern Europe. However, by far the most visited tourist destination in Russia is its colourful capital city of Moscow. Here visitors are treated to many truly iconic sites, such as the extravagant domes of St. Basil's Cathedral, the Kremlin building and Red Square.
